Housing Options Earns Peer Accreditation

Housing Options has received full Accreditation following a two day review by the Peer Accreditation Association. The review found no deficiencies in meeting the criteria set by the Accreditation Association. some comments in the notification letter were:

“Housing Options Made Easy met or surpassed all of the standards and criteria for full accreditation…the review team found your records to be exceptionally well organized and clearly presented. The fiscal records reviewed were exemplary, especially considering the complexity of your multiple funding sources.

The review team was particularly impressed with personnel management procedures and your preference to fill open positions from within your organization.

The practice of having consumers sign off on all case notes created by case managers demonstrates commitment to empowerment and client participation.”

The purpose of the Peer Accreditation Association is to support the development and growth of peer-operated organizations in the following ways.

Housing Options is the first agency in Western New York and the fourth agency in the State to earn this distinction.
